Harriet and Luke celebrated their Spring wedding at Ansty Hall by showcasing the joy of all the gorgeous flowers that bloom at that time of year.

How did you both meet and how did the proposal occur?
We met on Bumble (a dating app). After 5 years, Luke planned a trip to Athens and proposed with an expensive bottle of wine and views of the Acropolis.
What did you love most about Ansty Hall?
It’s too hard to pick just one thing! The set up was amazing as we got married in the Church and then walk around to the newly renovated Orangery for our reception.
The food was incredible. The staff were fabulous all day and were on hand to help with everything! We love that Ansty Hall is only a short drive from home which means that we can also visit whenever we want.
Did you have a theme or particular style for the day?
To me, a spring wedding is all about the flowers! All of our colours were based on the blossom tree in our garden – pinks, purples, mauves, whites. We made all of the flowers ourselves and had a working party a couple of days before to arrange them all. They looked stunning!
Ansty Hall even arranged a ‘create your own bouquet’ stand during the evening so that all of the left over flowers were taken home.
Tell us all about the dress...
I felt like a princess in my dress!
What do you remember most about the day itself?
The whole day was just so FUN.
Were there any special moments or surprises?
We wrote personalised thank you cards to all of our guests as their wedding favours. It was a beautiful moment to look around the room as our family and friends reminisced, laughed and cried at the cards.
What tips or advice would you give to future couples?
Make sure you’re organised – there’s a lot to co-ordinate for 1 day!
