Founded 35 years ago, family-owned Kenneth Green Associates, KGA, is the UK’s leading distributor of fragrance and beauty brands. KGA’s annual company kickoff event is a key part of KGA’s marketing calendar and is attended by the company’s senior leadership, sales & marketing and merchandising teams.
Purpose of Event
A three-day, two-night brand immersion designed to blend rich content and learning with meaningful opportunities for cross-departmental networking. Bringing together 60 attendees, the event is a cornerstone of KGA’s marketing calendar.
To highlight the organisation’s end-of-year financial performance and to plan for the year ahead by considering strategy, insight and new product launches.
An experiential opportunity to showcase products across 35 brands, spanning fashion, prestige, and niche fragrances.
Objectives
Create a truly memorable experience for the sales team that brings KGA’s culture-first ethos to life, equipping them with the tools, insight, and confidence they need to succeed in the year ahead.
Ensure every moment makes them feel included, inspired, and valued, while strengthening their connection to the brand and to each other—so they leave energised, aligned, and ready to deliver outstanding results.
Make full use of Lainston House’s estate leveraging both indoor and outdoor areas to create varied atmospheres and rich learning environments. Showcase creativity and innovation through visual merchandising, branding and styling of the event.
Key Considerations
KGA is a long‑standing client of Exclusive Collection, drawn by their shared values as family‑run businesses. Exclusive Collection have hosted the annual kickoff event since 2018, and the 2026 edition saw KGA take exclusive use of Lainston House. This allowed the marketing and visual merchandising teams to create an immersive experience under the title Chateau Green, inspired by traditions of olfactory art and French luxury heritage.
Creativity was balanced by conscientious conferencing with food and drink choices, digitised collateral all designed to reduce environmental impact.
Outcomes
KGA took exclusive use of Lainston House, embodying the hotel’s ‘your house, your rules’ ethos. The aesthetic reflected family values; informal, unconferenced and designed to encourage comfort and conversation.
The estate was transformed into Chateau Green, with different spaces used for distinct purposes, from sharing results and business updates to product discovery, networking, and celebrating a successful year.
Season Cookery School provided a setting for collaboration, conversation and creative cook-offs, while The Dawley Barn hosted
a glamorous gala dinner. Each room was designed to reflect the brand’s fashion‑led, prestigious and niche identity, with particular attention to fragrance‑focused visual merchandising.
Additional touches included food prints, symbol cut-outs and flavour profiles inspired by the fragrances, as well as KGA branded goodies as take‑home treats.
All food and drink was seasonal, local, and sourced from the estate wherever possible. Some menu items echoed fragrance notes such as jasmine and apricot brioche, lemon cupcakes, and raspberry‑rose macarons served during break times on day one.
