The art of cooking: Easter chocolates
After enjoying a welcome cuppa and pastry with your fellow classmates, no doubt discussing your love of chocolate, it’s time to get cracking, pun intended, and into the kitchen. Taking your Easter chocolates to the next level, this class will give you all the techniques to create some delicious Easter treats to gift loved ones or simply enjoy yourself.
Join us in the converted wellhouse kitchens of Season to learn all about chocolate, sounds like a perfect day to us! You will master the art of tempering chocolate, a technique that requires skill, concentration and a good thermometer. We have all the equipment and advice on hand to guide you through a step by step process to make your very own Easter egg. And there’s more chocolate to make with fruit and nut bars and flavoured chocolate ganache filled truffles - of course plenty of taste tests will need to take place as you create before enjoying the completed masterpieces. There’s only so much sweet food you can eat in one day, so light snacks will also be provided at lunchtime.
No need to be a cooking connoisseur here…the class is relaxed, fun, informative and interactive, suiting all abilities. Sharing a workstation between two (if you come on your own we will pair you with a classmate), we will work together through the preparation and cooking of each dish, then you can enjoy the fruits of your labour, whilst our cleaning wizards do their magic and hey presto - your cooking station ready for the next dish!
