Fly Fishing in the Test Valley

Whether you're a seasoned fly fisher or fancy giving it a go in a beautiful setting, we're perfectly located just minutes' drive away from the Test Valley. With plenty of chalk stream beats and trout lakes to take your pick from. We've got so many options on our doorstep like Leckford Estate fishing; a Waitrose & Partner Farm, specialists like Upstream Dry Fly with many beats on offer and even our own fishing events at Pittleworth Fishing Lake.

With key trout fishing period April - October, but all year fishing available from lake fishing, you're never far from your next catch.

The day package is £150 per person and that gives you your rod and access to the private lake plus lunch (your catch plus a salad and breads).  Make their own way there and you will be met by one of the experienced fishermen and owners of the Lake.  Accommodation at Lainston House can be booked to enhance your experience. 

Oh and by the way, with smokers at The Wellhouse, our teams might be able to do some magic to your catch when you arrive back at the hotel. Get in touch with our teams before setting out and we'll see what we can do.
