Take a look at a some of the things we are doing at Pennyhill Park to look after the planet.

The first UK hospitality company to become B Corp

We are on a journey towards better wellbeing for both people and the planet, looking at our processes and practices, impact on the environment, alongside the latest technology to see where we can make improvements. We’re delighted to share as part of this journey that we have become the first UK hotel group to become a B Corp – full details, impact statement and formal announcement coming 29th October 2021!

Looking after people and the planet

Here's a taster of just a few of the initiatives we have in place at Pennyhill Park;

-  we buy 100% renewable electricity
- Use UK biomass fuel to heat our staff accommodation
- All our food extras at Pennyhill Park goes onto OLIO to ensure no waste
- Utilising produce on our estate from our kitchen garden and honey from our beehives
- We are moving to Molton Brown toiletries in our rooms as they are leading the way in sustainability, whilst still giving you a wonderful product made in England
- Space for mindfulness in our 120 acres and relaxing spa, you can borrow an exercise mat from reception for yoga in the grounds, take a walk or go for a run
- Netwalking – take some of your meeting conversations outside and head out onto one of the paths in our grounds to get the benefit from fresh air and exercise

Hyperlocal Hillfield

Opened in 2021, our brand new restaurant offering at Pennyhill Park is all about celebrating local and sustainable cooking practices. 80% of our suppliers come from under a 30 mile radius and we have chosen suppliers who deliver a high welfare environment for their animals and are preserving and enhancing the landscape they farm off. We are also growing the scale of our own kitchen garden to support produce from the hotel grounds itself. When produce comes to the kitchen, we believe in making the use of all parts, taking a nose-to-tail philosophy so nothing goes to waste.
