sales meeting - december 2015

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help in organising our Sales Meeting last Friday. We appreciated all of the time you spent with us when my colleague Sarah and myself visited - this time really helped in the organisation of our meeting. Thank you so much for the bedroom upgrades and the reservation of car park spaces. It is all of these things that make for a better stay and return visits to the hotel.

Attending an event nearby

I stayed here recently with my partner as we were attending an event in the area. We had an excellent stay - our room was very spacious, clean and well-decorated. The staff were fantastic - super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had afternoon tea soon after we arrived and were very impressed with the selection and quality of the food on offer, and breakfast the next morning was also of a very high standard. The property is beautiful and full of character. We will certainly stay here again when we are next in the area - a first class experience.

Now i have had many afternoon teas… I won't beat around the bush… this place is by far one of the best I’ve had and it’s so very well priced too. Super - highly recommend and I will of course be back. A glass of pink champagne goes well too.

weekend away

We stayed for a weekend away - all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideally positioned for so many locations, we visited Windsor which is about 15 minutes away. . Lovely gardens with nice features and a nice evening bar. We had a free breakfast included and in London this would mean Continental breakfast but not here, a full English breakfast that set us up for the day.

Thank you so much for running the Capita Travel and Events 2 day team build meeting. They have all fed back to me how great the venue was, the staff were all very helpful and supportive and what an amazing Venue you have. James, our CEO, particularly wanted me to pass on his thanks. Simone, you have been amazing supporting me trying to arrange this event for them with all the many changes, thank you.

I wanted to drop you a line to let you know that I have had a very positive experience in dealing with your venue . I have worked in Customer Service & Hospitality roles for most of my working life, so I knew what I was looking for when I approached The Royal Berkshire and I certainly found it. All the attention to detail, plus the beautiful decor and stunning setting of the venue, made our day special and very much contributed to the wonderful send-off we wanted for our lovely Mum.

afternoon tea

We had the traditional afternoon tea and it did not disappoint. Good selection of sandwiches and lovely fresh scones. Interesting cakes. We couldn't finish it all so we're offered a pastry box to bring the leftovers home. Lovely friendly staff who could not do enough for us.
