Real Life Weddings at Royal Berkshire

We met on a spur of the moment evening out at Slug and Lettuce with our friends. Got talking, numbers were exchanged and the rest is history!

Seven years later (no seven year itch here!) Ashley got down on one knee on Rebecca’s 30^th Birthday. It was a big surprise!

As soon as we drove down the long beautiful driveway and saw the amazing grounds, we knew it was special and would be a beautiful setting. We loved the ceremony and reception rooms too, which were nice and bright with a modern decor.

The Royal Berkshire team were so friendly and helpful from the first visit all the way through to the Wedding Day itself. Overall we couldn’t have picked a more amazing venue to have our Wedding.

Our colour theme was blush pink and white, with some green foliage added in. A popular Wedding colour theme but one we were always drawn to during hours of browsing Pinterest.

Our fantastic florist did a large part of the work with the beautiful themed floral displays.

For the finishing touches, we sought inspiration online and ordered some lovely co-ordinating bits from Etsy.

The dress was a Rebecca Ingram design and I felt AMAZING in it! It was a love at first sight moment when I tried it on for the first time!

Looking around and seeing everyone having such an amazing time. It was a really special day!

Oh and of course the special moment of actually saying “I do!”

Checklists will become your best friend! Hitched.co.uk had a Wedding planning tool which was so useful.

Facebook Wedding groups were also really helpful to connect with other Brides during the planning, and seeing common questions being answered.
