We met at university but didn’t get together until a few years later. Proposal happened on the Amalfi Coast in Positano

The indoor and outside space, the modern yet sophisticated feel and the people were so kind especially Dominika.

We wanted a modern and classy feel without seeming too boring, so went for pastel colours will elegant flower arrangements. We also wanted mixing and mingling so went for long tables and a Friday more casual event as well as the Saturday.

I wanted a dress that matched the theme of the day, classy but not too boring! I went with a dress from Browns Bridge I found which I love! Rob loves his black tie so it was a natural choice! One of his friends made his personalized bow tie for him. On the Friday evening we wore Indian outfits which were a nod to our heritage.

Being so happy and seeing all our friends and family in one place enjoying themselves.

We were able to incorporate a little bit of us into the celebrations like having a dessert table instead of one dessert, having limoncello as a party favour, having Rob’s friend make his bow tie and having my grandmother’s favourite flower and precious stones in my earrings – those touches were each small but very special and made the day so personal to us.
