Half Term and School Holidays at Exclusive Collection
Whether it's the six weeks of summer or just a week or two at half term, we know you want to make the most of the time with your family and find somewhere you can have fun, relax and enjoy quality time together. We love to be part of those memories which is why we look to make your stay as fun and yet relaxing as possible.
We love welcoming families to Lainston House and have a few things up our sleeve to make your stay fun for the little ones! Enjoy a range of fun parent and child cookery classes in Season, our cookery school on site. Just a couple of hours, you get to keep the kids busy, walk away with something tasty and not have to worry about the clean up after! Add our Teepee experience to your room for a bit of play time with one of our games or comfy reading time - perfect if you want to sit back and have a reading break yourself. Then if you want to go exploring, head out into our grounds for walks, fly a kite or you can borrow our bikes if you fancy a ride around.
If you're looking for a base to enjoy a whole range of fun local attractions, then you couldn't be better placed than Royal Berkshire. Legoland is just an 8 minute drive away or for those a little older, perhaps Thorpe Park or Go Ape are more tempting, again only 15 minutes drive from the hotel. To get in touch with nature, we love The Great Walk or saying hello to the deer in Windsor Park, enjoying lakeside walks around Virginia Water and incredible displays in The Savill Garden. When back at the hotel, there's delicious relaxed dining in Fork, comfy family rooms and 15 acres to explore and play garden games.
If you're looking for a classic country retreat with the family, then South Lodge comes highly recommended. With 93 acres to explore (including our own Minty sheep treasure hunt), dedicated splash times in the spa pool and plenty of lounge spaces and large family suites to enjoy a board game. What's more, the entire South Downs is on your doorstep for local walks and the beautiful Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens with deer and wallabies is just across the road from us.
With deluxe family rooms at the ready, Pennyhill Park has 123 acres for you and the family to get away for a well deserved break. Perhaps you fancy a game of croquet when the sun is shining or a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool? Head to the drawing room for a game of pool or chess, or perhaps you fancy a film night which you can enjoy in the screening room. Heading out, there are a whole range of experiences nearby, from Go Ape, Legoland and Virginia Water.
The Manor House
Come rain or shine, grab a pair of wellies and head out on some beautiful walks on our doorstep or simply enjoy exploring our Italian gardens, Castle Combe village and playing some lawn games. Only a 30 minute drive from Bath with a whole host of things to see and do, from The Roman Baths to Thermae Bath Spa. Nearby you can find animal parks like The Little Zoo Wolf Experiences and incredible stately homes and arboretums like Dyrham Park, Lacock Abbey and Westonbirt Arboretum.
With so many beautiful spaces in the grounds and gardens to explore, you might find no need to go off exploring. If you are looking for something fun to do with the family, why not head to the miniature railway just a mile away, or Paradise Wildlife Park and Lee Valley White Water Centre are both within 30 minutes drive if you're looking for something thrilling or furry friends to visit.
