Head Pastry Chef, Leyre Pedrazuela Otero

Leyre is our wonderful Head Pastry Chef at South Lodge, leading a team of 8 pastry chefs in the kitchens. Leyre has worked in the pastry industry for 12 years and gained her wealth of experience from her home country of Spain working at high end Spanish patisseries Mama Framboise in Madrid and Escriba in Barcelona before moving to the UK where she worked at Madame Posh in Windsor before joining our sister property Pennyhill Park, in Surrey as Sous Pastry Chef. Leyre is passionate about learning new skills and techniques to develop her repertoire to create delicate and delicious works of art for guests to enjoy. Afternoon tea is a particular passion of hers, and she loves designing menus as the seasons change taking inspiration for the high quality ingredients she works with.
