VIP’s – Very Important Paws!

We know that having a dog is not just 'having a pet', they are very much part of the family and a trip away just wouldn't be the same without them! With so many fantastic places to visit and go walking with your pooch in the Sussex countryside, we're perfectly placed for day trips and even have 93 acres of our own woodland grounds for your four legged friends to explore.

To have your furry friend stay with you, there’s a £40 charge for up to two dogs per stay, which includes the provision of a dog bed, towel, water bowl and a welcome treat.

Dog friendly rooms

We have 10 delightful dog friendly rooms all with direct access onto our grounds. In your room there will be a comfy dog bed waiting, along with a towel for those mucky paws you can't avoid with our English weather, two bowls, doggy poop bags, and a little treat.

Hungry pups

Just like us people, dogs know what they like and like their food fresh! If you're bringing fresh dog food you would like stored in our fridges, just let us know and we'll happily accommodate you.

Once your pooch is fed and happy and the human tummies are grumbling, we have a few dining options available for you. If you would like to keep your four-legged friend by your side, you're welcome to enjoy our all day dining in the bar, lounges or of course as out on our terraces when the warmer weather is with us. If you're looking to enjoy a meal in one of our restaurants, you're welcome to leave your pooch crashed out snoozing in your room as long as they remain happy and calm when you leave them.

We love welcoming your pooches and making a fuss of them but unfortunately we do not offer a dog sitting service whilst you use the spa or have a  spot of dinner in one of our restaurants.

Walkies!!

With 93 acres of South Lodge grounds to explore, you can enjoy a lovely wander around with dog waste bins dotted around the grounds. And if you're looking to venture out a little further afield, pop to reception and one of our team can provide you with a selection of local walking maps for you to enjoy or head off to the South Downs National Park.
