How many people can we have at the wedding?

We can cater for up to 120 guests for the wedding reception and up to 150 for the evening party

 

How many weddings do you have per day?

We limit the number of weddings at the venue to one per day.

Do you allow outside catering?

Yes, we do!

What is your minimum and maximum number?

You can have an intimate wedding for 2 in our beautiful smaller suite, or invite up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast.

 

How long does each section of the day take?

The ceremony (if required) 30 minutes
A refreshing drinks reception whilst the photographs are being taken is normally 1 hour 30 minutes
The receiving line (optional) should be about 30 minutes
A three-course wedding breakfast with coffee and petit fours is 2 hours
Speeches are usually 30 minutes unless the Best Man really gets going!
Cutting the cake takes 5 minutes which is just long enough to get the perfect picture
The evening entertainment sets-up whilst we turn the room into the evening reception and unless you have a 12 piece band we have the room ready in 60 minutes - you can then dance the night away until midnight!

What time can my suppliers set-up from?

The room is yours for the whole day so any of your suppliers can set-up from 7.00am on ther  morning of the wedding

Do you have chair covers?

We provide the chairs and have some lovely suppliers we can recommend to you for chair covers and sashes

When time does the alcohol licence run to for the bar?

The licence is up to midnight

Do you allow confetti?

Yes we do - but outside only please and it must be bio-degradable

 

How long will you hold a date for me?

We can hold a date for 2 weeks whilst you come to a decision and speak with the Church/ Registrar

Do you allow candles?

Yes as long as the tip of the naked flame is covered

 

Do you have accommodation?

Yes, we have our lovely Waterfall Lodge for up to 8 people, the hotel here on the estate is a short 5 minute buggy ride from the Clubhouse with 50 beautiful bedrooms along with our pub in the village, The Castle Inn

Do you allow fireworks?

No unfortunately not

 

Do you have parking?

Yes, plenty of it!
