Overnight Stays

Check-in is from 3pm, though if you arrive early we can keep hold of your bags until your room is ready. If you are likely to arrive after 8pm please do let us know.

Check-out is by 11am, but if you want to take a walk around the village, we'll happily hold your bags until later.

Free of charge, unless you have booked a special rate, until 48 hours before arrival, after this time the full charge applies. Our special rates cannot be cancelled or transferred, so please check the rate details when booking.

Got a little one with you? We have cots available for free and z-beds for children under 12 for £27 per night, per child. Our Cosy rooms don't accommodate cots or extra beds but we have rooms in all other categories that do. Call us to check availability and capacity for your preferred room type. The Bybrook restaurant is adult only to keep a calm atmosphere but we have our pub, The Castle Inn, along with our casual dining menu for food in one of our lounges or room service.

Want to bring your beloved pooch? We have a selection of dog-friendly rooms in our Mews Cottages you can pick from and for £30 per dog, your furry friend can stay and we'll equip your room with a dog bed, bowl and some doggie treats! Dogs are welcome in the front hall lounge but if they are having a funny five minutes or causing upset for our other guests we will kindly ask if we can relocate you to another area - don't worry there's plenty of grounds for them to enjoy!

Our Michelin starred restaurant has a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Enjoy delicious seasonal dishes crafted from local ingredients by Executive Chef Rob Potter and his talented team, enhanced by wines of the world expertly matched by our sommelier.

Please note: The Bybrook is an adult only environment to retain a calm atmosphere. We have other options in The Castle Inn, along with our casual dining menu for food in one of our lounges or room service for children under the age of 12.

A British classic which can be enjoyed in one of our beautiful lounges or The Bybrook restaurant. If you're looking to change up the tradition a little bit we also have a fantastic Hendricks Gin version which might take your fancy!

Enjoy our welcoming lounge and Spike Bar serving our Great British Menu, a Sunday carvery lunch and local ales. The bank of televisions screen lots of the big sporting fixtures and events so grab a buggy from Reception and come on up!

You don't need to be a member to enjoy our golf club, you can pop in to play a round of golf, test your power on the driving range, hit the gym or head to the bar for a bite to eat. We recommend booking in advance if you're looking to play some golf whilst you stay with us.

Golf Club


Situated only a short way from the main hotel, in the heart of our Italian gardens, you can enjoy a treatment in the beautifully refurbished Potting Shed and unwind in a truly unique setting. Pre-booking is a must for this one of a kind experience.

With state of the art TechnoGym equipment including a free weights area, recline bikes, resistance machines and more, The Loft is a great place to squeeze in your fitness regime whilst you stay with us.

We love to welcome all our guests and strive to ensure the whole hotel is accessible to everybody. 

Our public areas are accessible for wheelchair users, but unfortunately our guest toilets do not have disabled access.

We have a beautiful Cosy room in our Mews Cottages, called Homestead, which is accessible for wheelchair users and has been adapted for easy and comfortable use. The room has handrails, an accessible shower and a low level basin in the bathroom. A fridge can also be requested for storing medications in bedrooms. Please request these at the time of booking so we can be sure to accommodate you comfortably.
