Dog Friendly Stay
at The Manor House in Castle Combe
Dog Friendly Hotel in the Cotswolds
We know that having a dog is not just 'having a pet', they are very much part of the family and a trip away just wouldn't be the same without them! With so many fantastic places to visit and go walking with your pooch in the Cotswolds, we're perfectly placed for day trips and even have 365 acres of our own woodland and parkland you can explore. We have lots of great experiences for the dog parents too - Michelin starred and casual pub dining, the Full Glass Bar with over 180 gins to try, The Potting Shed if you fancy a little massage or facial, and beautiful Italian gardens and garden games to enjoy outside in the sunshine.
To have your furry friend stay with you, it's £30 per dog for the duration of your stay.
Dog friendly rooms
We have 14 delightful dog friendly rooms located in our stunning Cotswolds mews cottages, spread across almost all of our room types, from a characterful and intimate cosy room, through to a luxurious home from home master suite.
In your room there will be a comfy Fatboy dog bed waiting, along with a towel for those mucky paws you can't avoid with English weather, two bowls, doggy poop bags a little treat and some water.
Just like us people, dogs know what they like and like their food fresh! If you're bringing fresh dog food you would like stored in our fridges, just let us know and we'll happily accommodate you.
Once your pooch is fed and happy and the human tummys are grumbling, we have a few dining options available for you. If you would like to keep your four-legged friend by your side, you're welcome to enjoy our all day dining in the front hall lounge and oak lounge in the hotel, of course as well as out on the terrace when the warm weather rolls in. We also have a fantastic little pub, The Castle Inn, where all dogs are welcome, just a few steps away in the heart of Castle Combe (complete with doggy treats).
If you're looking to enjoy a little fine dining during your stay, you're welcome to leave your pooch crashed out snoozing in your room, so you can head to our Michelin starred restaurant, The Bybrook. To retain a calm and relaxing atmosphere, The Bybrook does not cater for dogs or children under the age of 11 years.
With 365 acres of Manor House grounds to explore, you can enjoy walks as little or as long as you like and you'll find dog waste bins dotted around the grounds. And if you're looking to venture out a little further afield, pop to reception and one of our team can provide you with a selection of local walking maps for you to enjoy.
On our land we do have a championship golf course which we request you don't walk through with your dog for your safety, the dog's safety and likely the safety of the golf balls that could be rather tempting to chase! Similarly, it's worth mentioning our meadow which has ducks and chickens roaming, again often viewed as the next best thing to go play with with through your dog's eyes, we do ask you lead up around this area to help keep our little guys safe and sound.
