Dog Friendly Hotel in the Cotswolds

We know that having a dog is not just 'having a pet', they are very much part of the family and a trip away just wouldn't be the same without them! With so many fantastic places to visit and go walking with your pooch in the Cotswolds, we're perfectly placed for day trips and even have 365 acres of our own woodland and parkland you can explore. We have lots of great experiences for the dog parents too - Michelin starred and casual pub dining, the Full Glass Bar with over 180 gins to try, The Potting Shed if you fancy a little massage or facial, and beautiful Italian gardens and garden games to enjoy outside in the sunshine.

To have your furry friend stay with you, it's £40 per dog for the duration of your stay.

Dog friendly rooms

We have 14 delightful dog friendly rooms located in our stunning Cotswolds mews cottages, spread across almost all of our room types, from a characterful and intimate cosy room, through to a luxurious home from home master suite.

In your room there will be a comfy Fatboy dog bed waiting, along with a towel for those mucky paws when you can't avoid with English weather, two bowls, doggy poop bags a little treat and some water. For the humans too, there's wellies at reception if you'd like to borrow some on the rainy days.

Hungry pups

Just like us people, dogs know what they like and like their food fresh! If you're bringing fresh dog food you would like stored in our fridges, just let us know and we'll happily accommodate you.

Once your pooch is fed and happy and the human tummies are grumbling, we have a few dining options available for you. If you would like to keep your four-legged friend by your side, you're welcome to enjoy our all day dining in the front hall lounge and oak lounge in the hotel, of course as well as out on the terrace when the warm weather rolls in. We also have a fantastic little pub, The Castle Inn, where all dogs are welcome, just a few steps away in the heart of Castle Combe (complete with doggy treats).

If you're looking to enjoy a little fine dining during your stay, you're welcome to leave your pooch crashed out snoozing in your room, so you can head to our Michelin starred restaurant, Bybrook. We like to keep the mood calm and relaxing here, so it's a no go in Bybrook for dogs or children under the age of 11 years.

Walkies!!

With acres of grounds to explore, you can enjoy walks as little or as long as you like and you'll find dog waste bins dotted around the grounds. Take your pick of walk from our local walking maps.

Whilst some of our walks pass through or around our golf course, we do ask you stick to the footpaths and walking routes here so no-one get a golf ball to the noggin or goes stealing a player's ball! Similarly, it's worth mentioning our meadow often has ducks and chickens roaming, again a bit of a temptation for many doggos, so we do ask you lead up around this area to help keep our little guys safe and sound.
