What time does The Spa open and close?

The Spa is open daily from 6am - 10pm Monday to Friday and from 7am - 9pm on Saturday and Sunday

Is there a cancellation fee?

Bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged at full price. 

Are children allowed in The Spa?

Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to enter The Spa at any time. However we are pleased to allow children to enjoy the main outdoor swimming pool with adult supervision.

What should I bring when visiting The Spa?

Luxurious towels, waffled robes and flip flops are at your disposal along with hair dryers and toiletries, just don’t forget to bring along your swimwear and gym wear.

What time should I arrive for my treatment?

We recommend that you arrive at the Spa Therapy Reception at least 10 minutes before your treatment is due to start so that we can offer you a refreshment, confirm your requirements and give you a moment to relax. Late arrival may mean that your treatment time is reduced or unable to be honoured.

What should I know prior to my treatment?
  • Please leave your jewellery in a secure place, either in your room safe or in your locker as you will be asked to remove most items during your treatment.

  • Waxing is not recommended before or after any body treatment.

  • Waxing is inadvisable up to 24 hours before or after sunbathing, swimming, bathing or after the use of any thermal heaven.

  • It is imperative that all guests have a patch test 24 hours before a tinting treatment.

  • Treatments are only available on completion of a confidential medical consultation.

  • Under your robe please wear either dry swimwear or underwear. Disposable underwear is available on request.

  • After tanning we recommend you do not shower for eight hours or exercise until after this time.

  • Give therapist feedback as to your comfort and any special troubled areas.

What should I know prior to my spray tan?

Should I book my treatment in advance?

To avoid disappointment we do recommend that you book your spa treatment in advance.

Can I visit The Spa if I am pregnant?

If you are pregnant we recommend you do not use Thermal Heaven or the Hydrotherapy Pool. The Spa offers specific treatments during pregnancy, available after the first three months, perfect for Mum's to be! 

Can I visit The Spa if I have an outstanding medical condition?

Please inform a member of our spa team at the time of booking, prior to arrival of any illness, injury or health issue that may be relevant to your visit and we shall try our best to accommodate your requirements safely. 

Can I dine at The Spa if I have a special dietary requirement?

Please let us know before your arrival if you have any specific dietary requirements as we will do everything possible to accommodate your requests.

I am a resident of the hotel, can I use The Spa?

Entry to The Spa is complimentary from 3pm on the day of check in and until 2pm on your departure day. Please note that should you wish to enter The Spa outside of these hours, a £50.00 per person, per day charge will apply.

Can I use my mobile phone in The Spa?

We endeavour to create the most relaxing spa environment, therefore we ask you to refrain from making phone calls. Wifi is available throughout the spa however and we welcome guests to make the most of this, if they so wish. 

Can I smoke in designated areas of The Spa?

The Spa operates a no smoking policy

What should I wear around The Spa and in Themis restaurant?

In all areas it is customary to wear swimwear at all times. Please wear bathrobes in public areas of The Spa and hotel, we encourage our guests to stay robed and comfortable when dining in Themis. There is no need to get changed, just sit back and relax!
