What key safety measures do I need to know about? Will I have to wear a mask?

From the 27th January, it is no longer a legal requirement to wear a mask indoors, so you and our Exclusive team have the choice on whether they would like to continue to wear a mask.

We will be keeping in place our screens at reception, along with sanitising stations around the hotel.

Please continue to demonstrate physical distancing where possible to keep yourselves, fellow guests and our team as comfortable and safe as possible.

Please note our team members are not able to police government guidelines, so please be considerate to others at all times during your stay.

What time is check-in and check-out?

We invite all guests to check in from 2pm and ask that you have checked out of your room by 11am

If you arrive before your room is ready, we do ask you store your luggage in your car if possible to minimise contact with your belongings

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes, it's free of charge, unless you have booked a special rate, until 7 days before arrival, after this time the full charge applies. 

All other special rates cannot be cancelled or transferred, so please check the rate details when booking

How can I pay for my booking?

As rummaging around for coins becomes a thing of the past, we’ve now become cashless, so take your pick of card, phone or even watch to pay!

We do require a 50% deposit at booking stage for our flexible rates.  Everything you have throughout your stay can be charged to your room and settled on departure. 

What time do you serve breakfast?

7am - 9.30am, Monday to Friday
8am - 10.00am, Saturday and Sunday

What options do we have for dining?

For ease, our Conservatory Bar and Atrium Bar offers in-house dining in a relaxed and informal setting throughout the week

If you are staying with is at the weekend, please let us know in advance as availability for dining may be limited due to events taking place at the hotel.

 

Do you offer room service?

Sorry, we do not offer room service

Bringing children aged 0-10 years?

We have cots and Z-beds for children for £30 per night, per child. Call us to check availability and capacity for your preferred room type

Can I bring my dog?

Want to bring your beloved pooch? We do have a dog-friendly room you can pick from for £40 per stay for maximum of two dogs, your furry friend can stay and we'll equip your room with a dog bed, bowl and some doggie treats! 

Dogs are welcome in lounge and conservatory but if they are having a bit a funny five minutes or causing upset our other guests, we will kindly ask if you can relocate you to another area - don't worry there's plenty of grounds for them to enjoy!

Do you have a gym?

We have a small fitness room offering free weights, running machines, rowers and bikes

Please note that we do not have showering or swimming pool facilities

Is there free WiFi?

We offer complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel

Which train station is closest?

Ware train station is 2.5 miles away and a taxi to and from the venue costs approximately £7

How many car parking spaces do you have?

We have 200 spaces for cars

What is accessibility like at the hotel?

We love to welcome all our guests and strive to ensure the whole hotel is accessible to everybody. 

Our public areas are accessible for wheelchair users.

We have a bedroom which is accessible for a wheelchair user and has been adapted for easy and comfortable use. The rooms have handrails, an accessible shower and a low level basin in the bathroom. A fridge can also be requested for storing medications in bedrooms. Please request this room at the time of booking so we can be sure to accommodate you comfortably.
