Real Life Weddings at Fanhams Hall

How did you both meet and how did the proposal occur?

We met at work and Matt proposed in Rome

What did you love most about Fanhams Hall?

The building is beautiful but it’s the staff that I loved most – they were so helpful and caring and made our day so very special

Did you have a theme or a particular style for your day?

My theme was Autumn with getting married in October so had wonderful autumnal colours from the invitations to the flowers

Tell us all about THE dress…..

My dress was from Essence of Australia, I felt a million dollars. Anna from Bodice & Bustle in Bishops Stortford was amazing. I had seen the dress and Anna made it perfect for me.

What do you remember most about the day itself?

My mum walking me down the aisle and the happiness and love everyone felt.

Were there any special moments or surprises?

My daughter gave the most amazing speech that was both emotional and funny.

What tips or advice would you give to future couples?

Plan well in advance, we planned our big day for two years and only told people one year before so we had a whole twelve months of booking things and enjoying having a very special secret before telling everyone.

Definitely book a videographer as there are so many moments that you want to relive and memories to cherish.
