Sit back as you watch the culinary craftmanship of Ben Wilkinson’s stellar team of chefs. Ben’s seasonal menu is full of delectable flavours, earning the Pass a Michelin star and 4 AA Rosettes.  

The restaurant is open to diners aged 12 and above. The experience takes around three hours, and we definitely recommend booking in advance.  

At The Pass, every dish is a finely tuned creation, crafted over days with the very best ingredients Chef can source. This means we're sadly unable to adapt our menus for complex special dietary requirements. For a vegan or dairy-free meal at South Lodge, try Botanica or Camellia.

To secure your table we require a 50% deposit. Plans do change, so if you have to cancel, give us 48 hours' notice and your deposit will be refunded. If you cancel after this time a full cancellation fee of 100% of the menu cost will be charged.

Meet our chef

Head Chef, Ben Wilkinson

Our incredible chef Ben has worked all over the country and beyond, before coming to us he worked as head chef at the renowned Michelin-starred Cottage in the Wood restaurant. Ben took over leadership of The Pass in August 2022 and has been crafting spectacular seasonal dishes ever since.
