The perfect at home facial

Step 1: Pull your hair back from your face using a headband or hairband so your face is fully exposed as you don't want to get this in your way during your facial.

Step 2: Wash your face with a gentle cleanser. You may already have a favourite facial cleanser in mind for this, but we will take the products from The Spa range as an example. Use the Calming Rose Gel Cleanser from the Radiance Range to remove all make up and wash your face using warm water. This cleanser for sensitive skin is packed with damascene rose oil and cicatrisant, which helps to fade scars caused by spots, pocks and acne whilst at the same time lifting and toning the skin. Another fantastic property about the cleanser is that it's not stripping on the skin with it's honey texture melts between your fingertips into the skin. I recommend using a cleanser that mimics the skin's natural oil production such as one that contains jojoba oil.

Step 3: If you fancy a deeper cleanse, repeat step 1 and 2 before moving on to step 4.

Step 4: Tone the skin with cotton pads using your favorite toner. I really recommend the Rice Bran Oil Toner for sensitive and oily skin as it brightens the skin renewing of skin cells and helping to establish a more even skin tone.

Used by Geisha girls for decades, this recipe also is their skin secret as to how they make their skin so flawless as it absorbs the excess of sebum, for a perfectly matte and luminous complexion.

Step 5: Dry off the skin, then exfoliate! You can choose to add a facial scrub or another exfoliant for this step. But ensure that your skin is dry as you will exfoliate more effectively.  I recommend using gentle circular motions.

Step 6: Finally, it's time to pamper your skin using a peel off mask.  Mix it up by following the instructions on the back of the product. Choose a peel off mask that matches your skin type. My two favourites are from the Radiance range and the Gold range.

The Radiance range peel off mask is suitable for all skin types, brightens the skin, making skin appear younger, whilst the peel of mask from our gold range is again very hydrating and is suited for dryer skin and for those concerned with age as it has firming effects.

However with so many peel of masks to choose from, ranging from our 'As Cool as a Cucumber' Mask to the Calming Bilberry and Chamomile Mask and the Energising Willowleaf and Menthol Mask, not forgetting to mention the Aegean Charcoal Mask and Lifting Collage Face Wrap, you are really spoiled for choice when it comes to what properties of the skin you are aiming to improve.

Step 7: Finish off with your favourite serum and moisturiser to complete your pamper session.
