Not too far so you can maximise your time in our hotel, grounds and spa whilst packing lots of Sussex into your stay too!
Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens - 0.4miles
Just a short walk up the road and you will find yourself in one of the most beautiful Grade I listed gardens with its own house, vineyard, sculpture garden, deer park and even a wallaby enclosure! With so much to explore it's a great place for all, including families.
Bolney Wine Estate - 5 miles
Whilst you can enjoy a glass of Bolney at South Lodge, at just 5 miles away, it's a great place to go and enjoy one of their various tours or vineyard trail to see where the magic happens and relax out on their stunning balcony overlooking the vines and South Downs.
High Beeches Woodland and Water Garden - 5.6 miles
A bit of hidden gem in the High Weald of West Sussex and only 10 minutes from South Lodge, High Beeches have carefully curated an array of rare, exotic and award-winning plants inside their 27 acres. With a tea room and seasonal events, it's always worth a stop on your visit through Sussex.
Borde Hill Garden - 9.6 miles
A set of botanically rich 'living garden rooms' are to be discovered within 200 acres of parkland, with Borde Hill House dating back from 1598 sitting at the heart of the gardens. Horticulturalists will love this place as much as the little ones exploring Harry's playground or one of their family-friendly events.
Tulleys Farm - 11.8 miles
Fancy something a bit different? Tulleys Farm offer a whole host of unique entertainment experiences throughout the year. Wakehurst & Millennium Seed Bank - 13.7 miles
An extraordinary place to visit if you're a fan of flora. With over 500 acres to explore, from meadows, woodlands and valleys, to prairies, wetlands and of course the world's largest conservation project, the Millennium Seed Bank. Free for under 16s and with play spaces for kids to discover, it's a great family day out too.
Nymans National Trust - 4.5 miles
A more intimate choice of the gardens, Nymans is home to a beautiful collection of both classic and unusual plants and woodland, surrounding the partially ruined house which has an interesting history of many architectural faces since it was built in around 1839. p.s. be sure to check out their seasonal events!
