But if they can’t be swayed into a day of tree spotting and facts from you, there are plenty of fun activities for a great day outdoors. There’s the Gruffalo Spotter’s Trail, Treetop Walkway and play ideas for family based play around four themes; build, create, imagine and discover. What better way to explore Bath city that through some real-life adventure with a treasure trail! Enjoy a self-guided spy-themed two mile trek around Bath to enjoy at your families own pace. It’s a great way for adults to appreciate the beautiful Georgian architecture and the children having a blast at the same time. Question is, will you be able to stop the Bath Cake-tastrophe?! p.s. they have lots of other treasure trails locally too!

Head to Newtons Farm just 30 minutes away for some classic pumpkin picking. Enjoy “pumpkinologist” craft activities, a maize maze, lots of food and drinks options to pick from and of course the picking of your favourite pumpkin for Halloween or maybe a pumpkin pie when you get home!
