Celebrate the King's Coronation with us
To mark this momentous occasion we're celebrating with a King’s Coronation inspired cake, designed and created by Executive Chef at Pennyhill Park and Bake Off: The Professionals Finalist Sarah Frankland.
Taking the Exclusive Collection logo, Sarah commissioned a 3D printed chocolate design having seen this technique recently showcased at the World Chocolate Masters. The golden chocolate crown has been placed on a purple cushion representing the crown at the Coronation of King Charles III on May 6th.
Utterly delicious, the flavour combination was inspired by His Majesty’s favourite tea; Darjeeling tea served with milk and honey. The cake consists of a Darjeeling tea sponge, a Darjeeling tea mousse and Pennyhill Park honey and bergamot gel insert, topped with the chocolate crown and whipped honey ganache.
The Exclusive Collection inspired Coronation cake will be the centerpiece to our afternoon tea served throughout the month of May, complemented with a selection of patisseries, sandwiches, savouries and scones.
