Real Life Weddings at Royal Berkshire

How did you both meet and how did the proposal occur?

We both met via Tinder in 2014 and Ray proposed on Brighton beach at sunset in 2019

What did you love most about Royal Berkshire?

The beautiful grounds, the hotel is also lovely and classy and the all the staff are very helpful and friendly

Did you have a theme or particular style for your day?

We chose colours burgundy, navy with touches of gold accessories. We had in mind a regal autumnal feel.

Tell us all about the dress...

The beautiful dress was purchased from Chameleon Bridal store in Brighton and I loved it as soon as I tried it on.

What do you remember most about the day itself?

There are so many parts – the ceremony, the speech’s, the fun time dancing in the evening. The whole day was amazing.

Were there any special moments or surprises?

For me the main surprise were the Chinese traditional games which brought some fun and laughter to the day.

What tips or advice would you give to future couples?

I would say to plan some aspects in advance such as flower choices and use Pinterest for ideas. I found it help to plan early so it doesn’t get so overwhelming.
